What heads of loss are recoverable?
Direct cost, replacement cost, wasted expenditure, documented lost income, and costs reasonably incurred to reduce the harm. Indirect or speculative loss is hard to recover. We rank each head by strength before filing.
What evidence does the court expect?
Invoices, contracts with third parties, bank statements and accounts. For larger sums an accounting expert report. Estimates without documents carry little weight. If your numbers are thin, say so early so we can plan how to gather support.
Is the claim worth the cost?
We tell you plainly if it is not. Court fees, expert fees and time must be weighed against the recoverable sum and the other side's ability to pay. Sometimes a negotiated figure with security is the better result. See business compensation claims.

Can I claim for damage to reputation?
Such claims are difficult and require clear proof of financial effect. We assess whether it is realistic.
How long does a compensation claim take?
It depends on the court, any expert stage and whether the other side contests. We give a range after reviewing documents.
