Defective Goods Supply Disputes in Dubai

A buyer who receives defective goods should record the defect, notify the supplier promptly and keep the goods or samples. Delay and continued use weaken a later claim.

What should I do in the first days?

Photograph and document the defect with dates, quarantine the batch, and send written notice with details. Do not alter the goods before an inspection. Keep production or installation records that connect the defect to the supply.

How are technical defects proved?

Often through a court-appointed expert who inspects, tests and reports. We prepare the evidence and the questions. A private expert report obtained early helps shape the case.

What remedies apply?

Replacement, repair, price reduction, refund or compensation for consequential loss that is proved. Limitation clauses are examined for enforceability. See also defective construction work.
